Quantum Technologies and the Washington Island Electric Cooperative are pleased to announce Washington Island Voice—an innovative, state-of-the-art voice technology that provides crystal-clear telephone quality with minimal latency to all Washington Island residents and businesses that subscribe to the Co-op’s Fiber Internet Service.
Washington Island Voice is priced at $39.99 monthly for the first line, with applicable telecom taxes assessed separately. Installation costs $100 and includes a battery backup and new cordless handset. For customers who prefer using existing analog phone equipment, an ATA adapter will be provided.
Washington Island Voice is made possible through a groundbreaking partnership between Quantum Technologies and the Washington Island Electric Cooperative. Nathan Drager, President of Quantum Technologies, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership. “We are incredibly excited to join forces with the Washington Island Cooperative to bring Washington Island Voice to life,” Drager says. “Our collaboration,” he adds, “allows us to deliver an exceptional telecommunication experience to the community. We believe that our shared commitment to innovation and quality will truly make a difference in the lives of the residents and businesses on the island.”
In addition to Washington Island Voice, Quantum Technologies is offering Washington Island Fiber subscribers a special price of $25 per household for Quantum Care Basic—a lightweight application that lets Quantum Technologies monitor your computer’s health, allowing Quantum to proactively solve any computer issues before they become a problem. This price is fixed regardless of the number of computers you add.
Quantum Care Basic includes: monitoring, desktop notifications, and advanced tech specialist care—if Quantum detects a hardware issue, a tech will alert the Quantum Care subscriber to the issue and provide instructions on how to resolve it. Quantum Technologies does not track personal information.
